June 5, 2017 – LEBANON, OH – Mike Schueler, Chairman/CEO of Schueler Group announced that Eric Joo has joined the company as Chief Operating Officer (COO.) Joo has a long and successful career in commercial real estate. As COO, Joo will work with the Schueler Executive Team to develop and implement growth strategies and operational infrastructure to accommodate future growth.
Joo, along with Schueler and CFO Ted Gilbert will lead the company. Kevin Scott, President of the Construction Company, Bill Chester, Executive Vice President of Development and Jeff Eichhorn, Executive Vice President of Brokerage, will manage the company’s major functional areas.
In a recent announcement to the company Schueler stated that, “preparation for future growth and realizing our vision include adding management depth to our current ranks.” Eric’s background and expertise aligns well with the company’s long range goals.
During his 25 years with Miller-Valentine, Joo has been responsible for developing and implementing growth strategies including a wide variety of real estate products and new business ventures. He has in-depth experience in new market penetration, new product development, site selection, land planning, commercial and industrial development, design-build for lease, senior housing, structuring joint ventures, and finance.
Eric received his B.S. in Accounting and Finance and M.B.S in Management, Innovation and Change from Wright State University, where he currently serves as Adjunct Faculty, teaching Leadership and Ethics.
